JOHN WARWICK: Managing Director
John is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in all aspects of mining, general management, contracting and consulting. He has been Project Director for Competent Persons Reports and Due Diligence for stock market flotation’s and company sales assignments in several commodities including chrome, potash, phosphate, copper, nickel, iron ore, cobalt and coal operations. He is highly experienced in extraction and processing of base metals, coal and various industrial minerals in UK and overseas for whom he has worked in Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Bangladesh, Albania, Iran, South Africa, DR Congo, Kazakhstan, China, North Korea, USA, Indonesia and UK.
PETER ROBINSON: Director of Projects & Financial Analyst
Peter is a Qualified Management Accountant with more than 35 years experience in the mining minerals and consulting industry. He is actively involved in the supervision and production of competent persons reports, mineral expert reports, due diligence and feasibility studies and has aided in stock market flotations, financial evaluations and company restructuring. His commodity experience extends to include coal, copper, gold, iron ore, cobalt, lead, potash and he has international experience in Kazakhstan, China, India, Russia, Germany, South Africa, Romania, Ukraine, USA, Peru, D. R. Congo, Poland, Bulgaria, Indonesia and Mauritania.
In his capacity as Director of Projects, Peter is responsible for the overall management of projects undertaken by the UK office of IMCGCL.
DAVID FOSTER: Principal Geologist
David has over 38 years experience of exploration and mining geology specialising mainly in coal deposits. Within IMC he leads the geological deposit modelling activities of the company and participates in projects both in the UK and overseas. He is familiar with a wide range of geological and mine modelling software and has wide expertise in the assessment of reserves and resources. He has worked extensively on numerous projects in the past 12 years in Spain, USA, United Arab Emirates, Poland, Montenegro, Ireland, Indonesia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China and Russia as well as extensively in the UK.
HAKAN ARDEN: Senior Geologist
Hakan has over 20 years experience in the mining industry. He specialises in sedimentary deposits with international experience in sedimentary/mining geology, civil engineering and environmental studies. He has undertaken a number of projects including Geological and sedimentary models, Competent Person’s Reports and feasibility studies working within Europe, Australasia, South America and the CIS region.
MIKE RICHARDS: Senior Mining Engineer
Mike has over 35 years of experience in the mining industry. His industrial experience was gained in the UK and South Africa before undertaking academic roles researching mining finance, condition monitoring of mining machinery and spontaneous combustion. He has a strong consultancy base in coal and metalliferous projects and has specialised in mining operations, feasibility studies, due diligence, risk analysis, mine safety issues, ventilation, spontaneous combustion and gas emission.
MICHAEL LOOS: Technical Director of IMC-Montan Consulting & Principal Processing Engineer
Michael has over 30 years of consulting and operating experience in all aspects of mineral and coal processing, mine related surface facilities, environmental studies and assessments. He has participated in a wide range of assignments in Bosnia Herzegovina, Botswana, Czech Republic, Egypt, Ghana, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mauritania, North Korea, Pakistan, Poland, South Africa, Romania, Russia, Vietnam, Ukraine and Zambia as project manager, task manager or site manager. He has particular engineering experience in coal, iron ore, manganese ore, phosphate ore and rutile processing. Additionally he gained broad experience in coal market surveys and assessments.
DOMINIC WILKS: Mining Geologist
Dominic joined IMC after obtaining his MSc in Mining Geology from Camborne School of Mines. Whilst studying he had exposure to mining operations in Namibia and the UK encompassing the geology, mining and processing of gold, lead-zinc, uranium, diamond, fluorspar, kaolinite, tin-tungsten and aggregate deposits. In addition he independently analysed the geology, geotechnical characteristics and controls on mineralisation relating to an open pit gold mine in NE Kazakhstan. Whilst with IMC he has worked on coal and iron ore projects in Indonesia and India and has experience in using Surpac and Minex modelling software. He has also been involved in projects based in Guinea, D.R. Congo and the UK.
